With Christmas upon us yet again, we could do well not to forget the family with us now. If you are anyhting like me, new projects and hobbies can get in the way of ‘quality time’. Whilst the holidays give us some time to do those little things we’ve been planning to do in our research/projects, we must appreciate those who will be with us at this time of the year.

For those whose extended families are alright in ‘small doses’ just remember they’ll be going home on boxing day! I suspect that as usual, Benny’s household will be in throes of festivities for the next couple of days, with two teenagers and two younger ones and visiting family, I am unlikely to post until boxing day (hopefully with a fairly clear head).

To all, I wish you all a Merry, Merry Christmas.

Cheers

Hello Benny….I was just trawling through the internet and came across your
website, which is great!….I am also related to an Ellis family of Yorkshire
(the Leeds area) but due to a lack of family knowledge we have only got information
as far back as my great-great grandparents (b.around the 1820’s)….It’s a strange
ask but have you ever discovered any information concerning Ellis related to
the name ‘Bromley’…looking on genealogy websites we have seen these names
connected and in the family knowledge we do have, this name appears as a middle
name more than once….It may all be a coincidence but i was just curious as
to you ever having come across this name in your research!

Apologies for the random, rather obscure enquiry!
Goodluck with your website it’s a much appreciated resource =)!

    Louise.
