Standard genealogical data is available from many sources. The major problem with most of this data is is usually a snapshot of an individual at a certain point in time. Relationships between events and individuals is not always obvious from this data except in the case of cencus data. Over the years, the collection and publication of data has improved and meets some of the needs of geneologists.
